Local author Erin Elliott will host a book talk and signing at the library. Her book, Mira’s View (The Sword of Lumina, Book 1) is the tale of Galena the elf. Her once powerful race is now enslaved, and Galena pursues a legendary sword said to have the power to free her people. Will she find the sword promised to her people?
Sarah Sowell, Fayette County OSU Extension Education Program Assistant will be teaching a series of eight healthy nutrition workshops that will include taste testing and food demonstrations in each session. These classes will be held each Tuesday for seven consecutive weeks, skip a week and then conclude on October 28th at Jeffersonville Branch Library.
The book sale will be held in the library meeting room. Customers may enter through the East Street entrance. The American Association of University Women help with this sale and use half the proceeds for their scholarship fund. The library uses the remainder for new items.
